Founded in Bodrum

A Legacy Built on Water

Founded on a legacy of craftsmanship dating back to 2004, Puravida Yachts opened its premier 1,100 m² facility in 2021. Established by İlker Vardar in İçmeler, Bodrum — the absolute epicenter of Türkiye's yacht building industry — the yard was born from a desire to combine traditional maritime heritage with modern, seaworthy luxury.

What sets us apart is our integrated, full-service approach and our guiding philosophy of "Pure Life." By housing every critical discipline under one roof — from naval engineering and carpentry to electrical systems and high-end finishing — we ensure absolute precision and uncompromising quality control.

İlker Vardar

Founder & Managing Director

İlker Vardar has dedicated his career to the art of Turkish yacht building, driven by a passion for sustainability and world-class craftsmanship. He established Puravida Yachts' modern facility to push the boundaries of marine innovation while honoring Bodrum's rich maritime heritage. He personally champions the yard's commitment to creating vessels that offer world-circumnavigating comfort with minimal environmental impact — under whose leadership Puravida has delivered 5 vessels including the 46m (151 ft) hybrid sailing yacht Seven.

Abdullah Fırat

Naval Architect & Marine Engineer

Abdullah Fırat is Puravida's naval architect and marine engineer. He studied Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, graduating in 2017, and spent time as an engineer on long-distance vessels before starting his professional career in 2018.

In the years since, he's worked on new builds, refits, and port registration projects — preparing registration paperwork for close to 200 yachts and vessels, which has given him an unusually broad view of how different yards design and build. He also prepares Lloyd's classification projects. More recently, his focus has shifted to serial composite boat production, where he's built up hands-on experience keeping quality consistent across a production run rather than a one-off build.

At Puravida, Abdullah handles yacht design, stability calculations, 3D construction plans, Lloyd's documentation, and manufacturing support — covering a project from the drawing board through to the yard floor.

Özge Van, Interior Designer at Puravida Yachts

Özge Van

Interior Designer

Özge Van has been Puravida's interior designer for more than four years, having worked on several yachts before joining the team. Her recent work includes the interiors for the 18.5m (61 ft) Puravida motor yacht. Independently, she also worked on the 2024 refit of M/Y Provocateur.

Her work spans the full interior process — concept design and space planning through 3D visualization, material and FF&E selection, and procurement planning — turning an owner's brief into a finished, liveable interior.

Puravida Yachts works with K Interiors, a Geneva-based interior architecture and design studio, on select yacht interiors. Founded by Alain Meylan and Liliana Atilova, K Interiors brings international residential and hospitality design experience to projects across Europe and beyond.

Puravida Yachts builds for owners far beyond Türkiye's shores. Our recent clients come from the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Türkiye and Brazil — and three of the four Puravida hulls from our serial production run were delivered to private clients across Europe. Wherever you are based, we manage the build with regular progress reporting, so distance never stands between an owner and the yard.
